UOB Thailand and PEAK, a leading online accounting platform, recently joined forces to co-host a seminar “SMEs Beyond: Change for Success”, providing small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) knowledge on effectively leveraging financial data for business growth.

The seminar, which saw participation from over 80 small business owners and leaders, highlighted how accounting could impact on business growth by making decisions based on financial performance analysis, improving resource allocation management, and prompt business risk management.

Ms Sayumrat Maranate, Country Head of Business Banking, UOB Thailand said, “We understand the challenges that small businesses face as they scale up and try to reach their financial targets. Digital transformation is critical nowadays in giving them competitive edge. As a long-term partner for small businesses, UOB strives to support them along their journey with UOB BizSmart solution. In this connection, we co-organised a seminar with PEAK, one of our partners in UOB BizSmart, to help our SME customers realise their growth opportunities by streamlining their accounting systems with softwares.”

Mr Peem Petchgate, CEO and Founder of PEAK, said, “For small businesses to achieve sustainable growth, it is crucial that they have a strong foundation. Having a well-structured accounting system goes a long way in making day-to-day operations run smoothly and providing valuable insights from financial data that can be used to grow the business. During this seminar, we shared our expertise to help SMEs unlock their potential with financial data.”

UOB Thailand launched UOB BizSmart in 2018, providing SMEs with a simple and cost-effective way to streamline business processes using digitalisation. Over the years, the platform expanded its network of business partners, including an intelligent accounting platform called AccRevo, an online freelancer platform called Fastwork, an all-in-one electronic data capture platform called GHL, an online payment gateway called GB Prime Pay, one-stop HR management software called Human OS, cloud-based accounting software called PEAK, an e-commerce store solution called Zaviago, and an inventory management system called Zort.
