There are different sources of financial support for your business and making sense of it all can be daunting. Choosing the right type of finance depends on your type of business and what your business goals are.

Boost

Known as Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, Boost can offer advice and guidance to help your business on the path to success. Check the Boost website for contact details and information on the support available.

Business Growth Hub Access to Finance

The Access to Finance (A2F) service provides Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) in Greater Manchester and Lancashire with bespoke funding support, signposting the products and providers which can help unlock business growth.

British Business Bank

The British Business Bank offer Start Up loans of up to £25,000 in partnership with the Start Up Loans Company. A Start Up Loan isn’t a business loan, but an unsecured personal loan. Alongside the funding, you’ll get free support and guidance to help write your business plan, and up to 12 months of free mentoring if your application is successful. Eligibility criteria apply.

Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, provides commercially focussed finance through Microfinance, Debt and Equity Finance funds.NPIF is a collaboration between the British Business Bank and ten Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) including the Lancashire LEP.

NPIF provides over £500m of investment to boost small and medium business growth in the North of England.

Rosebud Business Finance

The Rosebud Fund is designed specifically for Lancashire businesses offering loans from £10,000 – £300,000 with complimentary business support for growing businesses in the County Council’s administration area.
